Switching from Linktree
Your Linktree,
as a menu.
Paste your Linktree link and Hotlink rebuilds it in under a minute: your links in the same order, your photo, bio and colours. Nothing changes on Linktree until you decide it should.
No card to start. Your Linktree stays exactly as it is.
Three steps, about a minute
- 01
Paste your link
linktr.ee/yourname, @yourname or just the name. We read your public page, the same one your visitors see.
- 02
See what comes across
Before anything is created you get a preview: every section, every link, and a plain note on anything that can’t come across.
- 03
Publish, then swap the link
The menu starts as a draft. When it looks right, publish it and put the new link in your bio. A checklist walks you through the rest.
What comes across
- Every link, in the same order
- Collections, as sections, and carousels stay carousels
- Your photo and bio
- Social icons, with email, phone and WhatsApp as buttons
- Shop products, with their prices
- Your colours: the closest theme, or your exact ones on Pro
What stays on Linktree
- Your Linktree stats and subscriber list
- Scheduled or hidden links, since only what’s public can be read
- Forms, and video embeds, which come across as plain links
- Background images
What a menu adds
Once you’re in, the link in your bio can do more than list things.
One thing on fire
Make this week’s offer the card nobody can miss, and let everything else sit quietly below it.
Offers that run themselves
Countdowns, and items that show only on the days and hours you choose. Happy hour, handled.
Numbers you can act on
Views, taps and where your visitors came from, card by card.
Yours, not a template
Six themes, your own colours on Pro, and a QR code for the counter.
Questions people ask before switching
- Does anything change on my Linktree?
- No. The import only reads your public Linktree page. Your Linktree stays exactly as it is until you change it yourself.
- Does the import cost extra?
- No. It’s part of every plan, including the free trial.
- What happens to my images?
- Your photo and link thumbnails are shown from where they already are. If you plan to delete your Linktree account, replace them in the editor first so they don’t disappear with it.
- I printed a QR code that goes to my Linktree. What now?
- That code points to Linktree, so keep your Linktree up for a while with your new link at the top. Hotlink gives you a QR code for your menu to print next time.
- Can I import more than one Linktree?
- Yes. Each import becomes its own menu, up to the number of menus your plan includes.
- Is Hotlink part of Linktree?
- No. Hotlink is an independent product. The import reads your public Linktree page the same way a browser does.
Bring it over and see how it reads.
